High Pressure – Low Speed
Material carrying capacity is generally between <1Ton and 200Ton. Micronized powder material is carried in the pipe at low speed and below the splash speed. Positive pressure (+1...+6Bar) is used as carrying air. Material speed is 3-7m/sec at the feeding point and 10-20m/sec at the end of the line. It is ideal for powders that are easily fluidized and can hold air. In this transportation, the flow is in the form of a full pipe with air gaps and the material remains on the ground continuously. Due to the low speed, it is generally used in abrasive and high capacity systems.
Our company manufactures Press Dense Conveyor units, which safely transfer micronized powder and granular materials over long distances using the dense phase method. These units are designed to serve as an alternative to mechanical conveying systems, including screw conveyors, conveyor belts, and elevators. In essence, the units mix the powder raw material with compressed air and transfer the powder through the closed-circuit pipe at high speed. These units are the optimal solution for high-tonnage powder transfer over long distances. Typically, micronized powder raw materials utilized in industrial production are procured via bulk trucks or Big-Bag bags. The micronized powders are stored in silos or bunkers within the production facility. Press conveyor units are strategically positioned beneath the stock silos, facilitating the transfer of raw materials from the silos to the production line. These units facilitate the transfer process with the assistance of high-pressure air.
These units are designed to safely and securely transport a wide range of raw materials, including those that are fine, coarse, free-flowing, dry, moist, coarse-grained, or in pellet form. In order to design an appropriate system, it is essential to ascertain the following information: the carrying capacity of the product to be transported, the delivery distance, the particle size, the amount of moisture, and the chemical and physical structure of the product. Based on these criteria, the most appropriate system is selected.
This system operates in a closed circuit and is fully automatic. The tank volume and delivery pressure settings are designed to meet the specific capacity and distance requirements of the transfer. In particular, the following materials are transferred: cement, dolomite, feldspar, lime, silica sand, casting powder, ash, plastic raw materials, chemical powders, sugar, flour, etc. This equipment is used extensively in the transfer of materials.
